Adsum Ravenhill How are you finding this? I've got one of these lined up for Ephesians once I finish Galatians in a couple of weeks. Any words of advice, any major pitfalls, any gems?

Nathan Leopard I’m finding it fine/okay. It might just not fit how I like to read the GNT. I find myself referencing it. I try to read 5 verses a day in John then read the corresponding portion (I’m not super consistent with reading the corresponding portion). I also find that if I’m genuinely confused by a portion (grammar/syntax) I’ll just watch Daily Dose of Greek for that specific verse and he’ll more likely than not note what was confusing me, or I’ll text a buddy that teaches Greek. Pitfalls would be thinking you need to “read” it all versus using it as a reference.

Gems, his comments on John 1:17 were illuminating because he argued (quite persuasively to me) that this is another statement of Christ’s deity because Christ beget (created) truth and grace.
“ὅτι ὁ νόμος διὰ Μωϋσέως ἐδόθη, ἡ χάρις καὶ ἡ ἀλήθεια διὰ Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ ἐγένετο.”
(John 1:17 GNT28-T)

Adsum Ravenhill Excellent, thanks so much, I'll keep that all in mind!
