This book has put me into a slump. It's not that it's bad, but it just feels very tedious to me. There's so much "Feyi did this, Feyi saw that," but they are mundane details, for example, clipping her toenails?? But between many pages, when the author does go back to explore the actual depth of human emotion and interactions, it is interesting and I'm locked in again.
