Wow, after 266 pages, and already knowing that Verux Company loves to cover up shit past, the FMC is still surprised, that they are doing it again. I thought Clair was intelligent, but obviously shes not.

Finally the psychosis starts, but also everyone is so stupid. As if any company would give Clair a captain and a ship, when they know she has hallucinations and ptsd since childhood. And ofc that company would send her back to an abadoned ship full of dead people when it's not clear, if she killed her whole crew. Suuuuuure

We are suddenly smooching with one of the crew and i can't get my head around why. I liked Clair, bcs of her "I gonna do it alone, i have a hard past, i don tneed anyone" for über 35 years and suddenly shes all OH BUT WARMTH IS SO NICE MIMIMI *gags* i hope the psychosis is getting faster at them than getting to fuck ey

I'm liking Voller, the asshole, more and more, and sadly Clair less and less. She's still very well written, but some decisions are just ???? And the stupid internal monologue about being strong and dont needing anyone but as soon as Kane touches her, shes all OH HES SO WARM *gags* girl make up your mind, i dont need this shit in my horror.

Okay :D the inspiration drifts off of Dead Space, but very surely Event Horizon (you should watch the movie, its great), because yeah x,D pretty much what happening with all the dead people and shit.

The narrative style is a bit chaotic, but it's still nice. Tho I'm starting to question the sanity of the FMC - which is the whole point of the book i guess. Also Voller is probably the char for disliking in this book x,D but I like him the most, ebcause he's normal and down-to-earth.

So :D i can def. identify with the MC. She doesn't wanna go back to the earth bcs of people everywhere and when her future looks like a desk job only at 34, she overthinks to off herself in space. I feel that so much.
