Narration is great and yet I’m having a hard time concentrating: the dialogues are cringy and I keep having secondhand embarrassment for the FMC. She meets this gorgeous guy in Paris - oohh la la… but then that’s the only thing she can see in the guy at their consequent encounters?? he is gorgeous and she keeps telling him this as if he is a juice piece of meat… talk about objectifying someone! Cringy

Okay - this is definitely erotica-level spicy and I’m wondering if I’m reading Fifty Shades of Grey in Paris… the plot picked up slightly with the mystery of James’ backstory and Olivia’s daughter too… but I wasn’t expecting this level of spice and I’m not sure I like it… you know it’s too much when I want to fast-forward past those scenes
