Sooooo painfully slow so far. I keep thinking this is such an odd thing for these kids do too and the dynamic is just odd. Feels like the author doesn’t know how to write male/female friendships. Can definitely tell it’s written by a man with the way females are described in general. Hope it gets more interesting
