I had higher expectations given how much I loved McCurdys memoir.

Although it is fiction, McCurdy has alluded to writing the book aiding in ‘closure’ and exploration of some past experiences, however, the writing so far for me is missing that level of ‘deepness’ we got in ‘I’m glad my mom died’.
