I’d say “draled” means to be the chosen one. It’s a liiitle misleading

Mmm, a little underdeveloped. We have just seen the whole family being killed by the “hand of power” and yet the reaction of the boy is rather short.

You wanna tell me thee teens are fighting off three supernatural creatures, once of which is seven feet tall?

Ok, proving ritual… this feels even more like “the wolf of the north”. I am wondering if there will be an attack from some rival city in which his father will fall.
Or is it just a trope/formula/construct?
A village boy (whose father is a great warrior) goes through a proving ritual where he is granted the blessing of the gods, then he is coming into his power by overcoming obstacles brought by the war.
