I think this passage emphasizes how great a time it is to be Catholic. Highlights the importance of having tough conversations oriented towards truth and not being afraid of resistance. We can’t get anywhere without dialogue and respect. All that being said, let women be deacons (and at the very least respect the lay women of the church)!
