The authors definitely succeeded in surprise factor—I hadn’t even suspected that. So kudos for that. I did dislike missing out on the original idea, but this works better. Also had a scene I didn’t expect—can’t say this was handled completely believably after. Seems to have gotten over it too quickly. I’m ready for this part to be over. Time to make some change and have the advantage.

I’m glad I pushed through and finished tonight. I became so lost I didn’t know who people were especially ones who had multiple names. I couldn’t follow fights and action scenes and got left behind. Things got crazy. Glad one thing wrapped up but don’t like the ending. It was just so fast paced toward the end, paced unlike the rest. Almost needed to take notes to keep up with this.

I had planned to read so much more today but went to see the monks and spent all evening there. Progress suffered so much that I barely read more than I managed last night after work, just starting the book in the evening. I’ve been pretty lost because there are SO many ppl and places that I can’t keep up. Confused by a lot and don’t follow. It’s so silly how she’s able to pull this off & get everything needed.

A good stopping point. Done with part 1. It’s just so unrealistic how much the heroine has gotten used to this world, she has something everyone wants, she can teach everyone everything. It’s just too much. Also missed out on chance to know her and see the beginning. Don’t like the different paths the future could take and all that. Way too much too soon. Doesn’t add up for her background. Way too many characters.
