i like how 15 pages ago whitleys body was carried back by a hawklord and drew rode his horse back ahead of all his friends to meet her father but now drew apparently carried her back himself and didn’t let any of his friends help. does the author even know he wrote this book.

i am so bothered by what bergan just said about duke hendrick. talking about how the white fist didn’t help save duke hendricks life when he was about to kill onyx but the only reason duke hendrick died was bc LUCAS jumped in on their parlay and kill duke hendrick. it had nothing to do with the white fist or hendricks skill wtf

it’s become nonsensical, like the plot has forgotten itself. and the characters all know what the reader knows without actually having been told anything. like spoon feeding us knowledge over and over again making the intentions for the future abundantly clear before anything happens. it’s like foreshadowing by slapping u in the face rather than subtle suggestion.
