In my book currently the main character is pregnant. She had a really good future ahead of her, her small business was doing well her husband was a highly recognized neurosurgeon and her best friend lived in her apartment building. Until her husband started hitting her now shes on her own about to give birth in a matter of weeks and she feels like everything went badly.

So far I really like this book. I decided to read it because this book has been recommended a lot. There is a lot of little plot twists and the main character is also reading journal entries she made when she was a teenager.
