WOW this author is SO good!! This is bk 14 of a series.. (about one a year, usually over 2" thick). In book 13, one MAJOR thing happened- reviewers even spoke of it as "that thing"!
Some even said they wouldn't read more after THAT.😲
I'm sitting here amazed at how she not only wrote the story past that, but made it feel on purpose, while leaving much room for more explanations.. brilliant twist!

Even though this is book 14 and many characters are pulled forward into a new book (there is an alpha character index), I'm always amazed that I can just start reading her new books and she has a way of gently working in who they are & how they relate to the new story, without having to go back and skim past stories. This is a real talent, and I'm not sure how she manages to juggle it all❓💖
