So I like how fast-paced the book is and I I don’t like her. The village was sacrificing girls because they were beautiful in the name of a sacrifice to the gods to keep their little village safe. I get is Chinese mythology and all but human sacrificing is just wrong if I was one of those girls in those villages. I’d put a scar on my face just to keep this from not happening to me.
