I just finished chapter 9. Probably th most powerful one to me so far. Alec growing DOWN instead up UP like Milo reminds me that adults can be rigid. Think we are”above” things. He can “see thru” things and therefore knows what Milo Tok and humbug are going through. Him mentioning that his different family members can “see” reminds me how incomplete these povs are

It’s so crazy reading this book at 33. I had the hardest time reading this as a child (8th grade i think), but it’s hilarious to observe that many of the themes are CENTRAL to my life now. A trip.
