The first third which relates how the Visceral realists get together in Mexico is relatively easy going. The middle section with it's 40+ narrators and quite a lot of Mexican slang is more difficult.

What to say about this book. A dizzying disorientating read at times, especially the second section narrated by so many voices across so many countries and times. Ultimately it left me with more questions than answers, but I will read it again, so I guess I like it!
