iran chapter was solid. mossadegh proved to only be really interested in anti-imperialism in his nationalism (Step 1, nationalistic oil against the favour of british oil companies) and was not friendly with the Tudeh (communist) party. Yet, the coup was justified by the US by claiming mossadegh had soviet association and collaboration. iranian secret police “SAVAK” later formed with israeli/us training + intel.
