hmm this reads so weird... i’m not a particular fan of the alternating points of view between the daughter and the mother, as chapters are rather short and the story keeps jumping from one to another too quickly for me to truly grasp the plot. before anything major happens, it feels like i’m already torn into another perspective. i can’t tell if slow reading makes it better or worse.
