the self awareness they had with in themselves as they were literally trying to SURVUVE A DESERT- omfg I lovvveee this book, i love the characters and their relationships with one another. i love and hate that i see myself in them, at such different parts of my life and wow- im just speechless- now, wtf is pt 2 or abby??

pt.1 done and i’m crying. that is such a needed ending to what happened to these kids. omfg what a terrible time they had, i’m just grateful they had eachother AND jo rlly fucking pulled through, her and john got them the fuck outta there. i love this book omfg. it’s exactly what i needed after reading everything they went thru. all the realizations with each character was huge too towards the end-

THEYRE KIDS- going through so much mentally, the constant you are wrong because you are not societally correct being beaten into them, the having no one to turn to or trust, and then finding solidarity in one another, being able to feel for eachother, omg i love the characters (AND THE DEVELOPMENT!!!), it’s fucking creepy and weird and the writing is amazing. i so so badly need a happy ending for these kids, please

holy fuck, wtf. first, what the fuck ARE THOSE THINGS AND SECOND, yall had me worried about Gabe. Honestly, everything i just read got me fucked up. getting all those kids drugged up and then attacking them, yall aliens? like i understand it’s a non conformed meat that holds desire but what is it actually and fr is glover fucking it. Eddies gay?! Nadine’s dead?!!! like how is there 40% left and keep in mind-

okay wow- a lot of shit has happened and rlly, i have so many unanswered questions. especially about Malcolm, like is it actually malcolm or has he been replaced? and replaced by what- are they aliens? demons? what is it that Smith was replaced with. also, the strange shit happening to all of them, the realization, that was fun to read. i like it so far, i hope these kids get justice because wtf is up with this place

i like it so far- i like the diversity within the characters and how fleshed out each of their personalities seem, tho at times i mix up whose who is my head. Gabe and Shelby are very prominent so far and i rlly like them, especially Gabe, he just reminds me so much of me as a teen. they’re a lot of people to learn, horror aspect has been VERY low too :( but it’s fun to read. shows me a new perspective too
