At a given pojnt in chapter 2, Avi Shlaim claims that comparisons between Israel and Nazi Germany is wide of the mark and is an absurd comparison, he goes on to justify it saying sth along the lines of ‘Unlike Nazi Germany, Israel, has not engaged in genocide’
If we ignore that the Nakba was indeed a genocide. I guess, the past two years has proved him wrong
