Purely a vibes thing, but I'm not a fan of the way this is written so far. It's meant to be intriguing and mysterious, mirroring how our characters feel out of the loop. But as a reader that knows where the book is going despite not being spoiled, it comes across as slightly exhausting. Maybe I'm just atrophied from reading too much slop.

I really liked the writing style but also felt like the plot didn’t justify the way she was writing it and made it cheesy. I love that writing style when the plot matches the vibe 😭
