I am confused about why Changez smiled when he saw both towers slowly falling. I am mad because of how people are looking at Changez after coming back to New York. I feel bad for Changez because of how the officer who inspected his passport was arrogant and disrespectful to him. I am confused about why Erica is thinking more and more about Chris after the 911 attack.

I am happy for Changez because he is ranked first in his class at Underwood Sampson. I am happy for Changez and Erica because both seemed to appreciate each other when Changez visited her in New York. I am frustrated at Erica's father as he is mentioning how the economy in Pakistan is slowly failing without knowing who Changz truly is. I am sad for Erica because of Chris's death; he looked like a great human being.

So far, I appreciate how the author takes his time to deeply describe all of Erica's characteristics. I am impressed by how much training the recruits from Underwood Sampson have to do in a day. I feel confused about how Wainwright addresses various expressions from movies, such as Star Wars. I am curious to know who the American was texting and what he was writing in his text at the end of the second paragraph.

Firstly, I am impressed by how the author is capable of manipulating his readers. I love the way the story starts. I am curious about who the American truly is and what he is doing in Pakistan. I am mad about how Jim is asking off-topic personal questions on Changez is life. I am happy for Changez because he got the 8th acceptance spot in his dream job. I am curious to know what Erica looks like in real life.
