I didn’t understand the hype at first. Then, somewhere along the way, the book swallowed me whole.
The final third made me want to call in sick just to keep reading. This climate dystopian fiction feels disturbingly plausible. I’m almost heartbroken that there’s no sequel, not because the story needs one, but because I desperately want to keep watching this world unfold (or more probably collapse).
