i knew he was gonna fail but MANNN :'(

okay wait one complaint i do have is making haymitch -- who so far has immediately hated all from the capital and then, and only after a while, begins to warm up to them -- immediately be sympathetic and neutral to effie.

go all in! make her an ignorant and evil capital darling, like everyone! make haymitch dislike her at first and then come around. it doesn't make much sense that hes neutral...

suzanne colllins is serving fanservice realness in some of this book... still loving it but sometimes it reeks of "this is haymitch! who you love! remember!" unfortunately :(

despite that, it is still making me cry and weep over him lol. im the fan being serviced
