"...she is not *fighting* the sexually repressive patriarchy by letting millions masturbate to a film of men abusing her. She is playing to them."
Interesting point here. Even if we take the tack that there are women who genuinely enjoy degradation and humiliation (and I am not saying there aren't), then 1. Are we sure that the number isn't artificially inflated) & 2. Their actual desires still reinforce the patriar

This seems contradictory. In an earlier part, he said that only high-risk individuals saw an increase in sexually aggressive behavior with increased usage, but now he's saying every user does? An inconsistency to be sure.
There is also a glaring need to specify in these studies whether we're talking about any use, moderate use, or high use, and define what those terms mean.

For the most part, I think he's done a pretty good job at producing evidence to back up his claim without getting into moral discussions, but this chapter definitely is religious-coded. A mother should be modest? A dad should set curfews and rules for his daughters, but the son just needs a good ol' man-to-man conversation? Ugh.

Individualism is one of the leading tenets of *liberalism*? Interesting. I feel like that one could easily go both ways. After all, isn't the prevailing conservative viewpoint that individuals are not representative of their circumstances, but unique people with individual choices? Not a reflection of the system as a whole?
