In "Forgotten Fire" by Adam Bagdasarian, a young boy named Vahan is born into a wealthy Armenian family. In his country his people, the Armenians are under attack. In one quote Vahan says, "I would open our front door and listen to the sound of gunfire and, hearing nothing, try to believe that the fighting was over." (Bagdasarian 15). So far I enjoy this book, I think next he might be alone from his family.

While reading many scary adventures take place, Vahan’s family being captured. Vahan escapes but, feels unsafe in who he escaped to, he continues to scavenge around in order to be safe. He says, “And each day I felt less and less like myself and more like a beggar" (Bagdasarian 104). I think next he will find another place to hide out at. This book has been exciting and educational, excited for what happens next.

Hey Elizabeth , I love this quote because it doesn't spoil the book but gives me a view on the writers style. What made you choose this book? Do you have any predictions? I might want to read this because I love mysteries!
