who do you think it is?

My theory is that it’s Agent Locke because I feel like the author is trying to veer me off the plot twist by making me think it’s a man who’s the killer. Locke im the beginning said that you cannot say “he” or “she” because it’s misleading, but I’ve caught her multiple times calling the suspect a “he,” which would lead Cassie off the trail subconsciously. Also, Briggs said that he wasn’t the one who flagged Cassie, so there’s a chance that Locke flagged her to lure her to Briggs, which would make it much easier to access Cassie. And Locke also said that there was a dead end in Idaho, only to find out later that there was a murder there. A lot of things line up I think

Ohmygoodness, that was my theory too when I read The Naturals, though there were a couple other things that made me go with Agent Locke as the UNSUB. I won't say if your theory is right or not though, but it's a great theory!! 🤭
