Excellent. Satisfying all of my interests at the intersection of medical ethics, culture, power, strength of beliefs and empathy; how even our best intentions result in deep, multigenerational harm. Nothing we do as clinicians is culturally neutral, nothing we say as humans is wholly benign. Our western idea of medicine, without pause, equates differences of practice with malice/neglect. Humility is so necessary.
