I do not always know what’s going on but I LOVE how I can see Tolkien’s prose style even in a translation :)
(good thing I already admitted to being a nerd because otherwise my excitement at a professor putting this on the syllabus because I asked for it would have outed me 😂)

I have finished reading Beowulf itself and now the commentary takes up more of the book than not and it’s intimidating and not required for class sooo guess we’ll see 😂
