Maybe if I had just waited like 1 chapter I’d get the time I felt I missed attacking Hadrian’s quick character change. Here’s the Marlowe rage I felt was missing! My bad

Not really liking current character development so far but I’m only on ch.2. Hadrian’s overt piety and dedication to the Quiet feels rushed.
Cassandra (probably 40-50?) continues to show immaturity/dependent despite jaadian “badassery” and vorgossos victory contribution.
Hadrians immaturity in the Empire of Silence and progressive growth was well developed from his many trials and is lacking with Cassandra.
