This is a skewed perspective on what unconditional forgiveness is. He gives a worldly definition of forgiveness. We cannot apply something that takes place between God and us (forgiveness and reconciliation) because there is nothing for us to forgive God for. Sometimes you can forgive without reconciliation (I say this not within the body of Christ) and still leave room for the wrath of God.
