I was looking forward to reading this but at 18%, even a seasoned and avid fantasy reader, I’m thoroughly confused by the world and all the names and I don’t care enough about the characters yet to not loose interest.

Can’t help but draw parallels between the orogenes of this book (humans with the ability to control and redirect kinetic energy) with the vivimancers of Alchemised (alchemists that can manipulate biology). Both powerful, both considered dangerous, both being controlled and/or eliminated by “the good guys”.
