The Lurking Fear: It took almost a month to finish this one short story and I probably should’ve just skipped it. The monster in the end is interesting, but the build-up, for me, was lackluster.

The Rats in the Walls: I’m definitely going to have to spin the block on this one. The end gagged me! Would’ve been nice for him to have named the cat differently, yikes.

The Hound: Might be my favorite so far. Grave robbers getting haunted, call it karmic retribution.

The Nameless City: A tough opener. Definitely gives you a good idea of the writing style of the short stories to come. Crazy idea, but I also, personally would not be investigating a lost non-proportional city by myself!

Herbert Watson- Re-animator: Frankenstein parody & first zombies. Glad I read up about the chapters being published weekly because damn, it’s repetitive! Descent into insanity is fun though.
