I love how the pacing felt tense, kinda disconnected, up until Warren shows up. It really gets you into Alba's mind and feelings right away (also chronic pain rep!! Yay!!)

Edythe Marsh was scribbled and erased from the records of the town????? And there's only Alba's dad's name. My working theory rn is that "Edward Marsh" is actually his mom, a trans woman, and that's why they townspeople said they don't know anyone by the name Edythe

Eridanys already intrigues me so so much, and it's evident he's as desperate as Alba to find his missing family as he is if he's willing to make a deal and stick around. I wonder if the people of the town know what happened, and somehow want to protect the merfolk left (Eridanys in this case) so they don't want Alba to know??
