@دودو: Yeah me neither when I read it... I was really confused at firstI had to research the religion and learn a few things about it. The more I read, the more atrocities I learn and sometimes I give up on people.
Understandable, but a lot of minority religions in the MENA region are fascinating including the Yazidis. What was done to then is extremely depressing...There's a book called 'Heirs to Forgotten Kingdoms' that covers them as well as other groups like Alawites, Mandeans, Samaritans and Copts etc if you're interested!
@Mark Exactly! Alawites, Druze, Zoroastrians, also Shabaks. I think many don’t know the number of religious minorities in the Middle East, it’s always really fascinating to see how diverse it is.
