Moneo finds out about the betrothal and is upset and suspicious of Hwi’s intentions. Leto is having Moneo plan the wedding

Duncan returns from the citadel and is starting to turn sour towards Leto and talks of how Leto is preventing changes and frontiers

The Ixian embassy in Onn is attacked. Leto and the Fish Speakers to respond violently killing many Face Dancers. Leto blames former ambassador Malky for the attack and orders Anteac and the Fish Speakers to find and kill him on Ix

Leto orders Nayla to reveal her spying to Siona and obey her

Hwi survived the attack safely and Leto reveals his journals he keeps. Leto tells Hwi they must let Siona act on her own

Moneo tells Leto that Anteac found that Hwi was created by Ixians in a lab. A package is sent to Siona

Leto tells Hwi that she must tell Anteac every detail of her childhood. Leto tells Hwi the Golden Path purpose to starve every planet of spice and travel to bring eventual suffering and survival before the worms return. Hwi agrees to marry Leto

Anteac is going to Ix by Leto’s demand and Anteac sends report to BG

Leto summons Hwi Noree to visit him in Onn. He tells her that she has been surrounded by Face Dancers unknowingly and has them all killed. Hwi probes his real purpose as a deity and Leto is sad that she can’t be his mate.

Duncan is summoned to Leto at the citadel and talks about how there’s no prisons. Duncan continues to question Leto’s army and the meaning of his actions

Duncan returns to Onn and meets with Leto and questions what happened to the previous Duncan. They go to Siaynoq The Great Sharing where 3 Fish Speakers from every planet are present and are in a passion for Leto. Leto displays the crsyknife of Muad’dib and explains to Duncan further his reason for a female army. They all have spice and Duncan confirms his loyalty

Leto is greatly attracted to Hwi and is saddened that he cannot be with her. He reminisces of all of the safaris into peoples lives that he goes into to escape his sadness.

Duncan and Siona are put together by Moneo in wake of the attacks in Onn and are brought to Goygoa which used to be Shuloch. Siona does this to show the previous Idahos children and wife who looks just like Jessica

Tleilaxu ambassador Nunepi attends Leto’s council where Leto falsely accused him of spreading lies of Leto’s sexual conduct and has him publicly flogged as punishment for the ambush attack on him. Tleilax will get no spice

Leto meets with RM Anteac and Luyseyal. They question Leto and attempt to poison him with spice essence. They warn Leto of the AI the Ixians are making which will mimic his mind

Leto and co arrive at Onn for the decennial festival. The Fish Speakers chant Siaynoq and it is tradition for Leto to be in the open for all to see

Hwi Noree is brought to Leto as the new Ixian ambassador. Leto tells her he knows of the secret Ix colony and that the Ixians bred her for the purpose of getting close to him. Leto and Hwi are sad knowing they might have been lovers if normal

Leto tells RM Cheneoh of his journals and purpose of his tyranny as a God not a ruler.

Leto and co continue on their path and are surprise attacked by Tleilaxu face dancers pretending to be Museum Fremen and then pretending to be Idahos. Idaho gets naked to distinguish himself and they survive with minimal losses. Leto hides their losses but will have the Tleilaxu leader flogged and expelled.

Leto and co are on foot to Onn. Leto and Moneo talk of having Duncan meet Siona. Duncan is surprised by the changed landscape

RM Anteac is in Onn to see how much spice they will receive. She receives message from an Ixian and Tleilaxu that they plan to kill Leto

Leto talks of his plan to change Arrakis back to Dune with evolved worms. The Worm has convulsions which scare Moneo. Leto will have Siona sent to citadel
