I was thinking of picking up this book myself since everyone is so hyped about it, but I’m also seeing a lot of the reviews you liked about it.

I hope I can hear what you think after you are done.

First hundred pages I almost DNFed and was really ehhh. It does get a BIT better but the place he’s writing from is ..not relatable for me.

That makes a lot of sense. I think this might be a skip for me for now as well, as I don't typically like power fantasy style books.
