Well I didn’t make my goal for February but I attribute that to February being a short month lol

Still going slow but starting to get a little scandalous (we’re talking secret affairs with nuns in the middle of the night!!!)

Which reminds me - I’ve been hit on while dressed as a nun teehee

I was getting worried because I put this book away for like 2 weeks. But I sat down, read a little, and now I’m invested. Some drama dun dun dunnnnn (mostly secrets) have come out right before they get locked in to vote on a new Pope so now I’m like woah what’s gonna happen? Feeling more optimistic so I think I’ll finish this book before Feb ends!

Strong start! Much more interesting than I thought it would be. Def going to be some twisty things going on and I love hearing the secret thoughts of Lomeli (main character). It’s fiction but the cardinals irl are still human, so I wonder if the real cardinals acted in any similar way when Pope Francis passed (rip). Also every time a new Pope is elected, the Seahawks make it to the Super Bowl (true fact).

Also this book has a cool map in the front. I love a book with a map!
