obviously athena is gonna be one of the villains in a book about medusa, but come ON. girl, when i fucking catch you!!!!

why the fuck is this main character acting like she has no idea what rape is like she didn't fight off a man for trying to do it to her at the start of this book

i'm really enjoying this book but i'm also a little confused cause i could have sworn this book is ayana gray's adult debut but it's... reading pretty YA. which isn't a problem because i love YA, but i'm still a little confused about how this was marketed
