I don't know if I can finish this book.This whole book is about Victoria's love life and how men no matter what have control over her. Like not even in a "I'm going to prove men don't rule me" kind of way like she's obsessed with Melbourne, and all the other men in her life are telling her to get married in order to control and tame her. She will get married to the love of her life but even then it just helps men.

I feel so bad for Victoria 😭 like Flora hit her with the "Your people aren't dolls to play with" and that hurt but she really should have been telling that to Victoria's mom! Like She's not a toy! Stop infantilizing her! God forbid you have some respect for your daughter!
