Wow, this was a slow read, but a good one. I didn’t know much about Camus’ life before reading this at all, and this book really puts light on how he was shaped as a person due to his childhood struggles, his quest for his own heritage and identity, his yearning for a father he never knew, and his immense love for his mother (even tho she never truly understood him). Truly a beautiful yet a bit melancholy read.
