This is such a fun and light-hearted series but I'm getting a bit sick of all the Deus Ex Machina going on. They have magic and so no-one (except the enemy!) is ever seriously hurt for long! Give them a day and even a fatal bullet wound can't stop them! This is maddening; Landy needs to be harder on his main characters.
