One of the first books I ever bought. First read it in 1956 when I was 7 years old.
Just finished reading Johnny Podres description of how Charley Dressen taught him to throw a change up: pull down the window shade. That description has been rattling around in my head for 70 years. Pretty sure this was where I first came across it.
