He got frustrated with her because she didn’t believe him. But then she knew that he was telling the truth about his love for her. Ugh. So good. I love this book. I can’t wait to read more like this. 10/10.

The ending was so cute too. When he was talking about all the places he wanted her to see and that there was a place he thought looked like her Blue Castle. And the fact that they go on a honeymoon to all places of the word and she was so happy and he was so happy. Love it. So good. There was no stupid drama between them two. Just a little miscommunication and the perfect love confession at the end.

Her uncles only respected her once they found out how rich Barney actually is. Oh my god. And his backstory. That was so freaking sad. B they’re literally meant for each other though. He had a bad childhood like she did. And omg. The whole thing with him figuring out when he knew he loved her. When the train almost killed he’d. Wowowow.

I don’t even know where to begin. What a book. And what a storyline. I KNEW Barney was John Foster. I knew it. And when he went looking for her after she wrote him her goodbye letter I nearly lost it lol. That was one great love confession. And the way he called her darling😭😭😭 ugh. And her stupid stupid family man. I still hate them. Especially the uncles.

Oh and also. The things Barney says about Valancy. Ugh. It’s so freaking cute. He has a way with describing her. I love it. It’s poetic. That’s what also make me think he’s a writer. At some point I thought maybe John Fosters books are written by Barney. And that the name is an alias. Idkkk we shall see. Anyways. great book.

ALSO. She’s not deathly ill. Which I couldn’t be more happy about. The doctor got it wrong. And thank goodness he did. Otherwise she would have never met Barney and got out of that dreadful house of hers. Which now she’s going back to👎👎👎👎 bc of what Barney said about his past (which he shouldn’t have even told her about)

Now there’s miscommunication ofc. Barney is going to return to an empty house bc Valancy thinks he doesn’t love her (it’s clear he does since the whole thing with the train happened). But she’s got it in her head that he doesn’t. So hopefully this story ends with him fighting for her. And with some big love confession.

Oh my goodnesssss. This is so gooddd. Not only did Valancy propose herself. And Barney accept. But when she went to the island it was her blue castle. Andddd they had the cutest scene together. I loveedddd it. AND he talked about his house as theirrrrr house. Ugh so cute😩😩
