4.5 ⭐️ for the fourth and final story: “Rat”
Very simple King short story. A little reminiscent of The Shining, but nonetheless a great read

*POSSIBLE SPOILERS*
LOVED THIS STORY!!! I absolutely LOVED The Outsider & I loved that that story itself included Miss Holly G from the Mr Mercedes series— a truly wonderful trio of a series.
Can’t believe I have left this on my TBR for so long. Itching to finish & read “Holly” itself

3.5 ⭐️ for story #2: “The Life of Chuck”
Slight spoiler: the backwards timeline wasn’t my favorite, made it hard to keep track of the story for me. Wasn’t awful, wasn’t my favorite

4.75 ⭐️ for the first story: “Mr. Harrigan’s Phone”
Reminded me a lot of his book Fairy Tale but in a 90 page short story. Ending was a little predictable but fitting & satisfactory. Great read overall
