Two things I hadn’t realised/noted the foreshadowing importance of before:
1) Miss Bingley’s reference about Mr Darcy getting new furniture
2) The irony in Lizzy’s quote, “The more I see of the world, the more I am dissatisfied with it; and every day confirms my belief of the inconsistency of all human characters, and of the little dependence that can be placed on the appearance of either merit or sense.”
