Disjointed — spent a lot of this book really unsure how to feel about it, as I truly support the premise and the important point it provides about the overlooked perspectives, harm, untold stories, and moral ambiguity provided by true crime spaces that act as though the people involved are simply characters in a story. However, it’s fractured, unnecessarily long-winded, with some highly unnecessary inclusions.
