This is a rare read the book but not seen the movie scenario for me. This book found me and so based on reputation I gave it a go. I must admit I did find myself skimming parts of this as author takes us through the slow passing of the children's monotonous 2 room cruel existence. That being said the tension built nicely and in the end I found myself captivated in hope for justice and revenge. Won't do the movie.
