How am I supposed to finish this shit

I really have to force myself to get through the pages. The female main character is an asshole to a little girl placed in foster care—do I even need to explain further why I dislike the character? The book feels sluggish and overly drawn out in certain parts. And don’t even get me started on Marissa. She’s absolutely awful. And that part where she offered to show 💀💀💀 was just so disturbing.
