this book has reminded me how much I enjoy annotating but also I’m losing the plot on whether Prof. Jacobs thinks reading with intentionality is a good thing or not- there’s a good mix of argumentation about “you shouldn’t read harry potter with a fine-toothed comb”
but also you MUST read the classics. I think i like the book enough to finish but jury still out
