I will articulate this more in a review upon completion, but this book feels like a valuable tool for those who want to dissect how different Jewish movements have collected into the complicated mass we see today. Anyone who has an interest in advocating for justice in Palestine, while doing so to, or even from and towards, a Jewish audience, can benefit from this disentanglement of movements, beliefs, and motives.

That being said, no book like this can be read and benefitted from without a thorough knowledge of regional history. It is not a historical geographic account, nor does it claim to be, and further context is an essential precursor to understanding the regional Palestinian history that influences the responses, behaviors, and movements alluded to in this book. A historical foundation is necessary in order to make the aforementioned goals actionable and give you a context in which to operate.
